Hi, I'm Yakup — frontend developer shipping full-stack ideas.

I build fast, accessible interfaces for the web. Lately I'm into component systems, performance, and everything that makes the edge feel snappy.

About

The short story

Five years in, three chapters so far.

Now

Five years in. Currently at a travel company, shipping a B2C platform for hotel and tour bookings. Most of my day goes into performance work and pixel-perfect execution.

Before

My degree is in Electronics & Communication Engineering, but in my final year I pivoted to software and taught myself to code. First stop was TÜBİTAK with Angular — where CSS and TypeScript clicked for me. Then Payten Technology, where I learned to model complex logic and ship genuinely reusable React components. That's the path that brought me here.

Beyond

Outside work I read, take long walks, and still write code for fun on the side. I try to keep a life that feeds the work — not the other way around.
